Our first event was held in the fall of 2023. We are excited to establish a powerful giving initiative in our local Rosemount community while creating awareness of the great work of local charities who are making a difference every day.
We meet twice a year, in the spring and the fall.
At this time, we are a members-only group and are unable to accommodate guests due to space constraints.
Yes. Only registered nonprofit charitable organizations can receive donations through the POWER of 100 Rosemount Women group. Checks are written directly to the charitable organization. One hundred percent of your donation goes directly to the charity. Tax receipts will be issued to you by the charitable organization at the event.
No. Power of 100 has no religious or political affiliations or leanings. Our members come from a wide variety of backgrounds and represent a wide range of beliefs and viewpoints. Our meetings are safe places to learn and share about organizations doing good work in the Rosemount area.
If you cannot attend a meeting you may send your blank, signed check to the meeting with a trusted friend or you can send a proxy to vote for you in your place along with your check.
Every nonprofit organization nominated must provide proof that they serve the Rosemount community and its residents. No national charities, programs or organizations will be considered; however, local branches of national charities may be nominated as long as the Impact Award dollars stay in this community. Recipients are expected to be registered charitable organization (IRS 501(c)(3) status or IRS 501(c)(19) status) or reside under a registered charitable organization as their fiscal agent with a minimum of 2 years of financial operations to show fiscal responsibility.
No. Our goal is to make a donation on behalf of the entire group and give $10,000+ at one time to make a larger impact in our community. We also need to record your donation so you remain eligible to attend and voting at future Power of 100 events. Only members in good standing can attend, nominate, and vote.
You absolutely can! There will be an opportunity to donate to the 2 charities that were not selected for the Impact Award at the meeting as well as above & beyond giving.
Yes. Look at the approved charities on our website for a list of ways you can help them carry out their mission.
Power of 100 Rosemount Women is organized and operated entirely by volunteers. We have no employees or established bank account. Although some of our operating costs are offset by sponsor donations, most expenses are covered by the Core Team. If you are interested in donating to help make the events possible, please let us know.
Power of 100 Rosemount Women collects your personal information (including name, address, email address, phone number, etc.) strictly for the purpose of communicating and maintaining our membership list. We will not sell, give, or otherwise share your personal information without your expressed consent. We do like to recognize our members via social media and other venues.
